WHOLE NUMBERS

Welcome to the whole number tutorial.

To find out how to use this tutorial click here (Note: by clicking that link, you will be opening a new window)

Before you started be forewarned that within this unit I will use the word "set" and use the set brackets "{" and "}". If you are unfamiliar with either the word "set" or the set brackets, then please check out the previous unit on sets.

Whole numbers are positive counting numbers with no fraction or decimal.
5, 7, 123, and 1,234 are examples of whole numbers.
However 1/4, 3 1/2, 5.25, and 123.6 are not whole numbers since each of them contains a fraction or a decimal.

Below you will see a list of this unit's section headings and the subjects contained within each section. Click on any one of them in order to get started.
